Add a Hero Image to Your Website

Loving the new aesthetically pleasing website trend - hero images? Not sure what they are but you're interested?

What's a hero image? Wikipedia puts it well:  a hero image is a large web banner image, prominently placed on a web page, generally in the front and center. The hero image is often the first visual element a visitor encounters on the site; it presents an overview of the site's most important content.

A great site to find images that you can use is https://unsplash.com/ - they're free, professional photos available for download! 

How can you add a hero image to your TeamSnap site?

  1. Open PageBuilder
  2. Select Rows
  3. Drag and drop 1 Column
  4. Click on the wrench icon for the row itself to open Settings
    1. Width - Full width so that it goes to the outermost edges of your site's page.
    2. Height - Full height
    3. Size suggestions: 1600 x 500 pixels so you can maintain a 16:9 ratio as a good rule of thumb.
